The Little Mermaid is the story of Ariel – a spunky mermaid who is fascinated by humans and all of their stuff. Her father, King Triton, doesn’t understand and forbids her to visit the surface – which, of course, she does anyway. Her friends, Scuttle and Flounder, and her guardian, Sebastian, are with her through all of her adventures, including when she agrees with the evil Ursula to trade her voice to be human! She must get the prince to kiss her in order to break the curse. A timeless tale based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen and the Disney film, this upbeat musical has familiar tunes, colorful characters and chances for lots of fun!

May 19 through June 03:
Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00am,
including 2 school show performances on May 22nd and 31st.
School shows will require actors to miss their morning classes, but they can receive community service credit.

Please note that actors MUST be available for all performances,

including School Shows (2 on each day listed).

This is non-negotiable!

Rehearsals will begin with a read-through on Monday, April 02 and are held Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, Saturdays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and Sundays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

If we are working on both Saturday and Sunday, there will be a weekday off.

Saturdays and Sundays are strictly dedicated to dance.

More than 2 conflicts on those days may result in an actor not being cast.

Actors are not called for all rehearsals, only rehearsals where they are being used for a scene.

Rehearsals will be worked around children’s schedules as much as possible.

As always, we consider homework a priority!

  • A picture (a school picture or snapshot is fine).

  • A resume or list of shows done.

  • Your conflicts for the rehearsal period.

All conflicts MUST be submitted prior to callbacks. Please check with your school choir/band/theatre director, your soccer/baseball coach, or any other adult who schedules your time, about all conflicts PRIOR to auditioning.
If additional conflicts arise after casting, it may result in an actor being replaced.
