The Velveteen Rabbit

February 3, 2018 through February 17, 2018
Saturdays and Sundays at 11am
Although it is the most modest toy in the nursery, the Velveteen Rabbit earns the enduring love of a young boy while discovering the joys and pain of becoming "real." Margery Williams' classic children's book of a stuffed toy rabbit brought alive has been transformed into this enchanting youth musical demonstrating deep tenderness, loss and self-respect.
Discover the amusing antics of the living rabbit and one's sadness when the Velveteen Rabbit lies discarded in the rubbish heap.
As the boy announces the rabbit is real, however, and the Nursery Magic Fairy transforms his love into a miracle, and the songs "What If Wishes Came True?" and "Sparkle In His Eyes" become joyous to hear.
