Lolly Johansen is a Los Angeles based director, actor, and arts educator who earned her MFA from Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, she earned her BA in Theatre and Business from LMU and studied abroad at the British American Dramatic Academy in London with a focus in Shakespeare and Classical Acting. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, her performance credits include One Day at Time (Netflix), Rizzoli & Isles (TNT), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena, Geffen Playhouse), a handful of short films, and several Equity TYA tours throughout California. Most recently, she assistant directed the world premiere of One of the Good Ones at the Tony Award-Winning Pasadena Playhouse. Other directing credits include How to Defend Yourself (LMU/ Del Rey Players), The Winter's Tale (Long Beach Shakespeare Company), Liz Estrada and StanD (LBSC New Works Festival), A Year With Frog and Toad (Morgan-Wixson Theater), These Shining Lives (LMU), and Doors Closing (LMU). A heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously contributed their time and talents to bring Goldilocks on Trial to life. And an extra special thanks to her husband, Jason, who makes everything she dreams up, in life and on stage, more beautiful.
